PRA Group Celebrates Employees with 25th Annual Great Turkey Giveaway
Global Company Gifts Holiday Meals to Employees and Nonprofits
NORFOLK, Va., Nov. 18, 2021 – PRA Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRAA), a global leader in acquiring and collecting nonperforming loans, hosted its 25th Annual Great Turkey Giveaway for employees.
Local employees gathered at the company’s headquarters for a drive-through turkey and wine distribution, and similar events are taking place across the country as PRA Group’s regional offices provide their employees with Thanksgiving gifts. For remote employees, PRA Group is gifting vouchers for a holiday meal of their choosing.
“When I reflect on what I am grateful for this Thanksgiving season, it is the dedication employees have shown to our PRA family,” said Kevin Stevenson, president and CEO of PRA Group. “Twenty-five years ago, the inaugural Great Turkey Giveaway began with Steve Fredrickson and I running across the street to buy turkeys and wine to demonstrate just how thankful we were. Today, I am honored to continue to show our gratitude through this annual event.”
Employees who were unable to attend were given the option to donate their turkeys to a nonprofit partner. At the end of the day, PRA Group’s Norfolk and Hampton offices donated over 250 turkeys to ForKids, the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center, Samaritan House, St. Mary’s Home and Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore for families to enjoy this Thanksgiving.
