PRA Group Tennessee Regional Office Partners with Local Nonprofits to Bring Christmas to 14 Teens

PRA Group, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse Host holiday Adopt-A-Teen event

JACKSON, TN – PRA Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRAA), a global leader in acquiring and collecting nonperforming loans, and its Tennessee Regional Office partnered with Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse to host an Adopt-A-Teen event and fulfill 14 children’s wish lists for the holidays.

In a collaborative effort to make the holidays special for children currently receiving services from the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, PRA Group worked with the Center to organize the Adopt-A-Teen party at Le Bonheur’s clinic. Complete with festive decorations, pizza, cookie decorating and a hot chocolate bar, the evening also featured Christmas Bingo and a giant candy bar raffle. For the final event of the night, the children opened their presents from PRA Group under Le Bonheur’s Christmas tree.

Tiffany Harris, assistant vice president of PRA Group’s Tennessee Regional Office, organizes the Adopt-A-Teen event annually. She reflects, “I could never put into words the amount of joy apparent on the children’s faces. It was such a blessing to walk around and talk to the children and watch them anxiously open their gifts, even as they tried not to mess up the beautiful wrapping jobs. I cannot thank our team members enough for supporting these teens and giving them a Christmas to remember. Our staff gave so selflessly, volunteered to make it all possible and showed such meaningful care for these kids. I am already looking forward to doing the same thing again next year.”

PRA Group recently donated $12,500 to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in support of their operations. The company’s Tennessee office is also a long-time supporter of The Exchange Club, Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, and donated $10,000 to the nonprofit organization earlier this year.

Since 2009, PRA Group has contributed nearly $9.5 million to charitable causes dedicated to strengthening the vitality of communities around the world. The company also offers a robust matching gift program and provides employees volunteer time off to participate in organized volunteer opportunities.
