PRA Group CEO and Board Member Named to Virginia Business Magazine’s Virginia 500 Power List

PRA Group President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Stevenson and Board Member Marjorie Connelly have been named to Virginia Business Magazine’s Virginia 500 list for 2020.

The magazine’s inaugural VA 500 list includes the Commonwealth’s most powerful leaders across 30 sectors ranging from construction and development to law, technology, and finance. Both Stevenson and Connelly appear on the list in the category of Investments.

“I am honored to be recognized by Virginia Business magazine as an influential leader in our Commonwealth,” said Stevenson. “As we grapple with the impact of a worldwide pandemic, social unrest, and so much more, I am encouraged and inspired by the work of many of the individuals named to this list. Despite these uncertain times, our company is committed to the same values we’ve held for almost 25 years: honesty, fairness, and serving our customers with respect.”

Stevenson is an original co-founder of PRA Group and has served as the Company’s president and chief executive officer since June 2017. Prior to that, he served as president and chief administrative officer and was also the Company’s executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer, treasurer and assistant secretary.

Connelly was appointed to PRA Group’s Board of Directors in 2018 and previously served on the Company’s Board from 2013-14.

“I am excited to be included in the VA 500 list among true leaders who have made incredible contributions to our Commonwealth,” said Connelly. “I look forward to working with many of them to continue to positively impact our communities.”

To generate this list, Virginia Business spent more than eight months conducting a thorough research project that included surveying business leaders and consulting economic development officials across Virginia.
