PRA Group Partners with Habitat for Humanity to Raise Over $50,000 for 105th Home Build and Aging in Place Program

Jackson, TN – PRA Group employees located at PRA’s Tennessee Regional Office partnered with Jackson Habitat for Humanity to sponsor the nonprofit’s inaugural Playhouse Build and benefit concert, raising over $50,000 in support of Jackson Habitat’s projects. PRA also hosted an outdoor cookout event at its team’s building site to raise further donations for Habitat. The Playhouse Build culminated in a concert hosted at Hub City Brewery.

The proceeds from PRA’s Tennessee Regional Office employee giving and the benefit concert will finance the construction of the local Habitat’s 105th home, which is set to begin in the fall. These funds will also support the organization’s Aging in Place program for senior citizens, which aims to provide critical repairs and accessibility, weatherization and mobility modifications that enable aging adults to remain in the homes they love longer.

Jackson Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International that serves Haywood and Madison counties with the aim of providing safe, decent and affordable housing to all residents of the communities it reaches.

Since 2009, PRA Group has contributed more than $7.8 million to charitable causes dedicated to strengthening the vitality of communities. PRA gives every U.S. employee eight hours of paid time off to participate in “Volunteer Day” events supporting local communities.
