PRA Group’s Danville Regional Office Earns Local Exceptional Community Spirit Award

DANVILLE, VA – PRA Group’s Danville Regional Office has been recognized for its Exceptional Community Spirit in the annual Spirit Awards edition of Evince Magazine. The Danville Regional office earned the award through community nominations, as well as those of previous Spirit Award winners. Other Spirit Award categories included Exceptional Customer Service, Community Involvement and Products.

The award is a worthy reflection of the Danville Regional Office’s giving initiatives over the past year. In 2020 alone, the office donated nearly $21,000 to local nonprofits, including the Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Danville AreaThe Salvation Army Potomac DivisionBig Brothers Big Sisters of Danville Area and United Way of Danville and Pittsylvania County.

Through the generosity if its dedicated employees, the Danville Regional Office also provided 350 gifts to 13 children through The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. The program partners with supporters to supply children and special needs individuals with Christmas gifts that their families may not otherwise be able to give.
