PRA Group President and CEO Achieves Third Consecutive Year on the Inside Business Power List

NORFOLK, VA – Kevin Stevenson, PRA Group’s president and chief executive officer, has been named to the 2022 Inside Business Power List for the third consecutive year.

The 2022 Inside Business Power List showcases the movers and shakers of the Hampton Roads community that are striving to move the needle for the local economy. Stevenson has become an influential leader in the Hampton Roads community by not only working to help consumers improve their financial futures, but also creating careers and giving back to communities around the world.

Stevenson co-founded PRA Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRAA) in 1996 in Norfolk. Since then, he has helped transform the business into a publicly traded global company with portfolio operations in 18 countries.

“It is an honor to be included alongside these great leaders in our region,” said Stevenson. “With that comes a deep responsibility to strengthen and give back to our communities—one which I am proud to have. I hope to continue leading not only PRA Group, but also the industry, in making an impact by doing things the right way for the right reasons.” 

Under Stevenson’s leadership, PRA Group has hired directors to lead programs for environmental, social and governance efforts and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. He was recognized as a 2021 Community Builder by the Hampton Roads Community Action Program for prioritizing the company’s long-standing tradition of giving back. Over the years, PRA Group has donated over $10 million to more than 100 nonprofit organizations around the world. Stevenson is a member of several local boards, including the Greater Norfolk Corp. and EQUI-KIDS.
