Accelerating Professional Development with Global Development Boot Camp
At PRA Group, we believe our greatest asset is our people. That’s why throughout the year, we take time to invest in professional development programs for our global workforce. One of those opportunities is our annual Global Development Boot Camp, a two-week-long concentrated program designed to help employees sharpen their skills, advance their careers and learn about different parts of our business.
What is Global Development Boot Camp?
Our Global Development Boot Camp offers a diverse range of professional development opportunities. The live and on-demand programming allows employees across different countries and time zones to collaborate, learn and grow together. This spring, the two-week event featured 45 live sessions led by PRA Group colleagues representing different parts of our business. A dozen recommended self-paced learning sessions were also provided.
Courses offered learning opportunities about a variety of subjects, including the inner workings of our business operations, leadership development, tips to maintain a healthy work-life balance and how to approach career development and advancement at every level. Initiatives like this help our team members stay close to the work and gain a better understanding of how all the pieces of our global operation work together to achieve success.
Nearly 1,000 colleagues from all 18 countries across our global operation participated in these interactive, informative sessions. The event will return in the fall for another two weeks, offering additional courses and learning opportunities. Participants are encouraged to submit their own future session ideas, as well.
