PRA Group Honored with CESSIO Laurel Investors Award

NORFOLK, Va. Sept. 25, 2024 – PRA Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRAA), a global leader in acquiring and collecting nonperforming loans, announced its operation in Warsaw, Poland was honored with a 2024 CESSIO Laurel Award. The team was awarded second place in the investors category, which is voted on by a panel of Polish financial industry professionals. This award is given to businesses whose work standards are highly rated from both an industry and investor perspective.

The CESSIO Laurel Chapter is made up of experts in a variety of fields, representing creditors, local governments, the Polish Bank Association (ZBP), the Polish Leasing Association, the Association of Financial Companies in Poland (ZPF) and others.  

PRA Group Polska’s Acquisitions Director Joanna Roguska-Ciborska attended the awards ceremony in September to accept the honor on the company’s behalf. “This award is an incredible honor for our entire team,” said Roguska-Ciborska. “Thank you to the CESSIO Laurel competition jury for recognizing PRA Group as a strong business partner in the nonperforming loan industry.”  

Roguska-Ciborska was individually recognized earlier this year by Loan Magazine as one of Poland’s Top 50 Managers in the non-performing loans industry.
